The 20th Youth Summer Camp organized by the All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots has opened in Beijing. On July 5, nearly 200 college students from more than 40 universities in Taiwan visited the Forbidden City, the National Museum and the Taiwan Guild Hall to explore national history and culture. Since 2004, more than 20,000 youngsters from Taiwan have participated in the summer camp, making it one of the key projects in cross-Straits youth exchanges. Photos: Li Hao/GT
