On July 16, 2023, 80 athletes and coaches from the Solomon Islands, who received training in China, visited Athletes and coaches from the Solomon Islands visit The Third Line Construction Museum of China in Pan Zhi Hua located in Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province. The Pan Zhi Hua Third-tier City Construct of China Museum is the largest and most comprehensive museum dedicated to the theme of third-tier city construction in China, showcasing the history of third-tier city construction in 13 provinces and regions across the country. These athletes and coaches from the Solomon Islands arrived in China in early July to train and prepare for the 2023 Pacific Games to be held in their country at the end of this year. In addition to receiving training in their respective sports, the athletes will also have a comprehensive experience of Chinese culture and a genuine understanding of China's development process.
