The 2023 Shanghai Book Fair is taking place at the Shanghai Exhibition Center from August 16 to 22 with expanded exhibition areas, activities and international influences. More than 20 national key publishing groups are invited to participate in this year's Shanghai Book Fair, along with more than 10 outstanding private publishing institutions. It is worth mentioning that the net exhibition area size for books was increased by nearly 40 percent compared to 2020. There will be approximately 850 events at the 2023 Shanghai Book Fair, including 467 events at the main venue and 142 events at sub-venues.
