On October 13-14, a delegation of international civil society representatives invited by the China Foundation for Peace and Development traveled to East China's Fujian Province by high-speed railway. They visited Xiaqi Village in Ningde City, where local people known as "boat dwellers" who used to live on boats now find feet ashore and were lifted out of poverty.
