People, most of them are children, living with disabilities receive rehabilitation training at the Xizang Disabled Rehabilitation Service Center in Lhasa, Southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region, on October 11, 2023. The center was established in September 1999 and comprises departments such as physical rehabilitation, auditory and speech rehabilitation, assistive device resource center, psychological and mental health care, and community rehabilitation guidance, providing treatment and assistance to over 3,000 patients with disabilities annually. Children receiving treatment here not only do not need to cover their own rehabilitation expenses, but also can receive additional subsidies for transportation, accommodation, and other related expenses.
