An exhibition called Painting a New Chapter: Academic Invitational Exhibition of Chinese Painting opened at the National Museum of China in Beijing on January 31, 2024. Jointly organized by the National Museum of China, the China Artists Association, and the Silk Road Planning Research Center, the exhibition displays over 100 masterpieces by 15 renowned Chinese artists. It showcases different themes, artistic styles, and schools of modern Chinese painting, as well as new explorations, breakthroughs, and creative achievements in various research directions, fully reflecting the new pattern of innovative and diverse development in modern Chinese painting.
