On the second anniversary of the hosting of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the upgraded Beijing Olympic Museum reopened to the public on Saturday. The museum is located in the south of the National Stadium (Bird's Nest), with a total area of 26,000 square meters. The basic exhibition hall, with an exhibition area of 8,604 square meters, consists of 1,394 exhibits and a large number of pictures and video images. Through large-scale scene restoration, a multimedia sand table and a physical exhibition, among other displays, it presents the process of bidding, preparation and hosting of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, as well as the shining moments of the athletes.
