Editor's Note:
On the occasion of Chinese Lunar Year of the Dragon, the exhibition "Jia-chen Year of the Loong Zodiac Culture" opened on Tuesday at the National Natural History Museum of China. Through pictures, videos, and precious artefacts, the exhibition comprehensively showcases the image, history, culture, and related biological knowledge of dragons.
In order to interpret and present rich natural science content for the only mythical member among the 12 zodiac animals, the dragon, the museum selected 19 exquisite fossils and animals' specimens for the exhibition, aiming to reveal the deeper charm of traditional Chinese zodiac culture.
