To celebrate the traditional Lantern Festival, the "2024 Shantou Small Park International Lantern Festival" is held from February 24th to March 15th at Small Park in Shantou, South China's Guangdong Province. The highlight of the event was the local intangible cultural heritage dance performances. The park also featured lanterns inspired by landmarks from five countries - Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, and the United Arab Emirates. These exotic lanterns, complemented by the traditional Chaoshan lanterns, presented a unique blend of cultures, reflecting the distinct charm of Shantou. (Photo: Chen Tao/GT)
