Shanghai’s railway network saw a travel peak on Sunday, the last day of the May Day holidays that lasts from May 1 to 5. It is expected that some 657,000 passengers will arrive at Shanghai by train on Sunday. In addition, railway stations in Shanghai are estimated to see a total of 483,000 passengers leaving the city by train on the same day, as many people choose off-peak travel this year.(Photo: Lu Ting/GT)
