In order to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a series of activities such as a national flag raising ceremony, an oath-taking ceremony, poetry recitals, song and dance performances were held on Monday morning at the Memorial of the CPC’s First National Congress in Shanghai. July 1 marks the birthday of the Party this year. Residents of all ages visited the memorial to better learn about the great journey of the CPC’s continuous efforts for the peace and development of China, and a better life for the Chinese people.
