The daily manufacturing at the Seres Group’s super factory and at a Changan Automobile’s factory in Southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality involves automated robotic arms operating seamlessly to execute sophisticated tasks at production lines, parts and components being accurately delivered by logistics robots, as well as specialized workers facilitating operations. Chongqing has been stepping up efforts in achieving its goal of constructing a trillion-yuan ($137.49 billion) level world-class intelligent new-energy vehicle industry cluster. In the first five months of 2024, Chongqing manufactured a total of 997, 000 vehicles for a total annual growth of 15.7 percent, ranking first nationwide.
