IAEA official praises China's efforts in nuclear tourism, nuclear tech application in insect sterilization

Sophie Boutaud de la Combe, Director of the Office of Public Information and Communication of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), visits the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base built by China General Nuclear Power Group in Shenzhen, South China’s Guangdong Province on August 30, 2024. There she toured the newly established Daya Bay Nuclear Energy Science Museum and learned about nuclear industry tourism and public science education. On August 31, she visited the Sun Yat-sen University, the IAEA Collaboration Center and the National Nuclear Technology (Insect Sterilization) Center.
