To commemorate the 700th anniversary of Venetian traveler Marco Polo’s death, the Shanghai Museum is set to host a special exhibition titled “Wonders of the World: China and Beyond in the Eyes of Marco Polo” from November 23, 2024, to March 30, 2025. The exhibition will feature 204 artifacts from 28 cultural and museum institutions across China and Italy, providing an in-depth exploration of cultural exchanges between China and the world during Marco Polo’s era.
