At the 2024-2025 FIS Snowboard & Freeski Big Air World Cup in Beijing on December 1, Japan’s Ogiwara Hiroto won the gold medal in Men's Snowboard Big Air. Italy's Ian Matteoli successfully executed the first 2160 in the history of the Snowboard World Cup, earning him second place, while China’s Yang Wenlong achieved his first World Cup podium finish, securing third place.
