Editor's Note:
After more than 30 years, the Zhengyang Gate arrow tower at the core of Beijing opened to the public on December 26. This is another important heritage site that has opened to the public since Beijing Central Axis was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Zhengyang Gate arrow tower, situated at the northern end of Qianmen Street in Beijing, spans an area of 0.21 hectares. Completed in 1439, it stands as a prominent landmark and a testament to the city's rich historical heritage. (Photos: Li Hao/GT)
