As the Year of the Snake approaches, the exhibition Embracing the Spring: Celebrating the Year of Snake opened at the National Museum of China in Beijing on Wednesday. Featuring over 200 exquisite cultural relics from the museum’s collection—including bronze, jade, coins, ceramics, gold and silverware, lacquerware, and calligraphy and paintings—the exhibition conveys heartfelt wishes for the season. It also marks the first Spring Festival since it was inscribed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage on December 4, 2024.
