On March 20, 2025, the Second Beijing Chaoyang Garden Festival and the 18th Beijing Chaoyang Spring Equinox Culture Festival officially opened at Ritan Park. A highlight of the event was the grand reenactment of ancient seasonal rituals, a tradition spanning over 500 years. The ceremony used historically accurate costumes, props, and musical instruments.
