The Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression collaborated with several universities in Beijing to host a themed event titled "Remembering Revolutionary Martyrs and Carrying Forward the Red Gene" on China's Martyrs' Day, September 30. About 150 teachers, students and museum staff representatives took part in a flower-laying and moment-of-silence ceremony. The event also featured red-themed lectures recounting the moving stories of revolutionary martyrs, and offered special guided tours focusing on martyrs' stories, leading young students through the exhibition halls to help them remember the history of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and carry forward the red spirit.
