These stunning aerial photos show Yanchi, an ancient salt lake known as China’s ‘Dead Sea,’ on March 7, 2017. Located in Yuncheng, Shanxi Province covering more than 120 square kilometers, the area is celebrated among tourists for its unusual colors. The waters turn a variety of hues – most famously pink – due to different natural algae. Photos: CFP
