Songjiang District People's Procuratorate approved to arrest a man for cheating fans of a South Korean star of 20,000 yuan ($2,899).

A victim, nicknamed Xiaolan, who is a fan of Song Joong-ki, found a post on Weibo by a scalper surnamed Liu, who said he could get tickets to Song's fan club meeting in Shanghai.

Xiaolan contacted Liu and was told each ticket costs 1,082 yuan. Xiaolan and friends paid Liu 20,000 yuan for 11 tickets.

However she later suspected that Liu had cheated them. After Liu refused to refund their money and didn't reply to their calls, Xiaolan reported him to police.
