Purcotton's founder Li Jianquan is an enthusiastic advocate of the exclusive lifestyle that his company brings within reach. Purcotton has been dedicated to using only natural cotton as the raw material for its products since it was established. Instead of using wood or synthetic fibers as the basis for their tissues, Purcotton stays true to their name and insists on only pure, natural cotton. Li said that natural cotton represents the comfortable and sustainable lifestyle that customers seek, and is the reason behind the name of the new tissue package.
New products in the Light of Life range are made exclusively from 100 percent natural cotton. Purcotton's technology enables soft, non-woven cotton fabric to bind together without use of any chemical agents. The result is both luxuriantly body-friendly and biodegradable. Li said that cotton grows well in a range of conditions. It can thrive in arid or saline conditions. Cotton can turn a desert into an oasis, and is very eco-friendly.
"If cotton was used to replace all the wood used to make tissues, we could save 5 million tons of paper, which means 120 million trees," Li said. More expansive cotton plantations do not just make economic sense, but are good for the planet and everyone who lives here.
Taiwanese actor and singer Michelle Chen attended the event and shared her experiences of the good things about cotton products and revealed that she and many of her friends are loyal customers of Purcotton.
According to the China Light Industry Internet, an online information platform, by 2020, the market for mother and infant products will reach around 3.6 trillion yuan ($570 billion).
For Purcotton, which aims high in providing the best quality cotton products for this growing consumer group, the business opportunities ahead are almost unlimited.
