One of China's hottest boy bands, the three-member TFBoys, announced on Chinese social media platform Sina Weibo on Tuesday that they will release their newest single "Zui Hao De Na Nian" ("That Best Year") on Thursday.

"The teenagers will carry on with a cherished collection of love and moving moments [heart][heart][heart] TFBOYS 'That Best Year' to release on August 9 at 8:06 am with gratitude," reads the post, which was forwarded nearly 100,000 times on the platform in just a day.

The release of the new single comes just three days after the fifth anniversary of the group's official debut.

Many fans flooded the post to express their approval and excitement.

"TFBoys, I have been supporting you and watching you from anonymity to today's success; you're my unreachable dream and the faith of my life," wrote netizen MeiZMzmer in one of the most-liked comments under the original post.

The group has also announced that they will hold a concert in Beijing celebrating the anniversary later this month.

Made up of three teenage boys - Wang Junkai, Wang Yuan and Yi Yangqianxi - TFBoys made their debut on August 6, 2013 and soon shot to fame after the release of their debut album Heart, Dream & Start in October and their single "Magic Castle" in early 2014.
