A symposium marking the 20th anniversary of the implementation of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Basic Law is being held on Tuesday morning at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

The event, held by the General Office of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), aims to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to China.
