Chinese singer Lu Han seems to be determined to add food vlogger to his resume.

The former member of the hit South Korean-Chinese boy group Exo livestreamed himself enjoying spicy hot pot with a friend on short video platform TikTok on Monday evening.

The views and number of participants of the stream soon reached the top of the hourly rankings on the platform. During the stream, the singer decided to experiment a bit by boiling some grapes in the hot broth before popping them in his mouth.

The new "dish" quickly caught the attention of Chinese netizens.

"Lu Han is a real adventurer. Imagine boiling grapes in a hot pot. The flavor must be very rich! It might be sweet, salty, sour and spicy at the same time. What fun," commented one netizen in a post on Sina Weibo.

The China News Service reported on Tuesday that Chinese ticketing platform Damai is planning to implement a paperless admission system using QR codes or facial recognition for concerts.

While some applauded the news, saying it might spell the end of high prices driving by scalpers, some pointed out that since QR codes are transferrable, it won't be able to stop scalping.
