Chinese actors Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo ranked at first and second among the top 10 list of the most influential male stars, while their TV drama The Untamed was named the most popular intellectual property TV drama of 2019 at the Tencent Entertainment White Paper Awards held in Beijing on Tuesday night. Xiao also won the award for most influential star of 2019.

For the music awards, Chinese singer Cai Xukun became the biggest winner as he took the award for best new album sales with his album Young, which reached 41 million units sold in digital sales, and the award for fastest QQ music digital album sales as Young sold 10 million copies in its first 50 seconds of going on sale.

Actor Yi Yangqianxi, also a member of Chinese boy band TFBoys, won three major awards - most popular film actor of the year, praiseworthy variety star of the year and most commercially valuable star of the year - at the 2019 Tencent Entertainment White Paper Awards held in Beijing on Tuesday night. However, the star was not able to accept the awards until near the end of the show because he was busy taking exams at university. 

The lateness amused many Chinese netizens.

"Last year, he missed the red carpet because of class, and this year he missed the award due to exams. Life is hard for him," one netizen commented on Sina Weibo.

"We support him! He is a role model for millions of fans. If he escapes the exams for a prize, it would negatively influence young people," another netizen posted.

A video in which Chinese singer Jackson Wang has a funny dance battle with actors Li Xian and Wei Daxun has gone viral.

In the video, the three stars try to outdo each other with hilarious dance moves while shooting a TV program. Li and Wei can be seen wiggling about while Wang, dressed in a red suit, tries his hand at some ballet moves followed by two cartwheels. 

Many Chinese netizens were amused by the interesting "dance battle." 

"Wang's dancing is so amazing but what surprised me were the great quality of his pants," one netizen joked on Sina Weibo.
