Xi approves sending 2,600 military medical workers to Wuhan

Approved by Chairman of the Central Military Commission Xi Jinping, 2,600 medical staff from the armed forces will be sent to the city of Wuhan to combat the novel coronavirus.

The 2,600 medics will treat infected patients in two hospitals.

So far, over 4,000 medical staff from the armed forces have been dispatched to Wuhan.
