The education commission of Beijing Municipality said Friday that online job fairs will be held and employment procedures streamlined for college graduates.

Employment guidance courses should also be given online to prevent the gathering of students, along with online learning platforms and one-to-one career counseling in universities, according to the commission's work plan to ensure employment of college graduates during the prevention and control period of the novel coronavirus.

The first online job fair will be held on Feb. 26, and more will be held until mid-April. Each job fair will last three to seven days.

The plan also encourages employers to use fax and emails when signing employment agreements with graduates. Other required documents or procedures shall be admitted or processed online, by mail or postponed until the epidemic is over.
