A: My nephew has been preparing for the college examinations lately. Due to the pandemic, the time for the test was postponed by a month. When I see how hard he is working, I feel a bit bad for him. 

我外甥最近在准备高考,因为疫情,他们的高考时间推迟了一个月,我看着他那么努力学习,真有点心疼。

B: Yup! These students who are taking the college entrance examination today are really in a pitiful state. Originally they should have finished this torment last weekend, but the pandemic has made them endure for another month. 

哎,是啊！今天高考的这批学生真是可怜,本来可以在上个周末结束这种煎熬,结果这个疫情让他们还要再坚持一个月。

A: I notice that my nephew is pretty optimistic. He has made a test calendar for himself to have a examination countdown. I estimate that he will be fully prepared.
