A man in Northwest China's Shaanxi Province inserted 29 magnetic beads into his urethra for reasons he was reluctant to reveal. By the time the doctor removed the beads from his urethral orifice, the beads had already calcified after staying in the body for ten days, reported Toutiao News on Saturday.

The doctor who handled the unusual case told the media that the man had come to the hospital after experiencing pain during urination and finding blood in his urine, but began to get shifty when questioned by the doctor.

He later disclosed that he had inserted magnetic beads into his urethra. The beads then stuck together and slid all the way into his bladder. After a surgery and days of treatment, the patient has now recovered.

The man did not give any explanation for his behavior, but netizens allowed their imaginations to run wild with speculation.

"Is that some sort of fanatic imitation of the game Zuma?" said a netizen.

"Maybe he accidentally inserted one and tried to get it out by using the magnetic force of the second one but failed…That's why he ended up having 29 beads stuck in it," commented another one.
