A: How's it going? Did you feel that traffic pressure was high on your way to work today?

(zěnmeyànɡ? jīntiān shànɡbān ɡǎnshòudào jiāotōnɡ yālìlebā?)

B: Yes, after all, the first batch of 590,000 primary and middle school students in Beijing are welcoming their autumn term.

(shìa,bìjìnɡ běijīnɡ shǒupī wǔshíjiǔwànmínɡ zhōnɡxiǎo xuéshēnɡ yínɡláile qiūjì kāixué.)

A: According to Beijing's arrangement, during the first three days of the semester,  all of the freshmen need to attend orientation.

(jù běijīnɡshì ānpái, qiánsāntiān xīnshēnɡ xūyào jiēshòu rùxué jiàoyù.)

B: Yeach. Every school has different arrangements. The main purpose is to help students adapt to school life and familiarize themselves with their environments as soon as possible.

(shìde, měiɡè xuéxiào ānpái dōu bùwánquán yīyànɡ, zhǔyào mùde háishì bānɡzhù xuéshēnɡ jìnkuài shìyīnɡ xiàoyuán shēnɡhuó, shúxī huánjìnɡ.)

A: That definitely is necessary. After a holiday brought about by the epidemic, students need to gradually switch back to learning at their schools through orientation.
