It has always been a challenge for China's film producers and scriptwriters to figure out how to properly cooperate to adapt popular literature works to film.

The literature department of Chinese streaming giant iQIYI hopes to make cooperation easier through an updated version of their long-term Yunteng Project, which aims to discover potential hit literature works through its channels. On Saturday, iQIYI Literature announced the launch of three new productions under the new Yunteng Plus Project at the Chinese Online Literature+ Conference.

Dong Qianqiu, general manager of the literature department, said that the company's literature platform has been establishing closer relationships with some new film studios through the film adaptations recommended by the department.

The Yunteng Plus Project announced it will work on theater chain movie productions with iQIYI Pictures.
