Universities in China that are currently under closed management for epidemic prevention have been trying various ways to make life a bit more interesting for their bored students. A university in Northwest China's Shaanxi Province, has done this by opening a racecourse, a go-karting track and a human CS (Counter Strike) game field.

The ideas were warmly welcomed by the students, who can enter the venues with their student ID cards and use the services.

One student told the media that building the racecourse not only makes use of the vacant space at school, but also creates a lively atmosphere and provides a fun way for students to use their spare time, reported Toutiao News on Monday.

However, the racecourse now has only two horses for students to ride, and the exact amount they have to pay is not clear yet.

Some people also expressed safety concerns over the racecourse.
