An online ceremony marking Tianjin University's 125th anniversary was held in the university's Zhengdong Library in early October.

Li Jiajun, Secretary of the Party Committee, delivered a speech, and Jin Donghan, President of Tianjin University, announced the official launch of the ceremony. School leaders, alumni representatives, some teachers, and student representatives attended the ceremony.

Tianjin University conducted a live broadcast of the ceremony through 12 streaming platforms due to epidemic prevention and control requirements. Over 10 million people enjoyed the beauty of the scenery of the campus in this golden season through the internet.

In mid-October, Feng Jicai, a famous writer and a professor at Tianjin University, also launched the "Red Leaf Season" activity, and invited some artist friends to play music against the backdrop of enchanting red maple leaves, providing a visual feast for the celebration.
