The Hubei Provincial People's Government announced a donation of medical supplies and tea bricks to thank Mongolia for donating 30,000 sheep to support China's fight against the epidemic on Tuesday in Wuhan, Hubei's capital city. 

At the donation ceremony, it was announced that the government would donate 3 PCR detectors, 30,000 nucleic acid testing kits, 20,000 green tea bricks and 2,000 black tea bricks to the National Emergency Committee of Mongolia, according to the Xinhua News Agency.

The 30,000 nucleic acid testing kits, which were produced by BGI Biotechnology (Wuhan) Co, have been certified by the European Union, the US, Japan and other countries, and are being exported to more than 180 countries. The product was also included in the World Health Organization emergency use list.

Green and black tea bricks are essential for people in rural areas in winter, and are also the raw materials for milk tea that Mongolians love. The topic #HubeiDonatesMongoliaInReturn had gained over 15 million clicks as of press time on Sina Weibo on Tuesday.

"One good turn deserves another," said one Weibo User. "Reciprocity is the golden key for humankind to live in harmony," said another.

"I got a whole leg of lamb yesterday and brought it home happily," a physician with Peking University Third Hospital told the Global Times.

During a late-February trip to China, Mongolian President Khaltmaa Battulga, as the first head of another country to visit China since the COVID-19 outbreak, announced the donation of 30,000 sheep to China.

On November 20, the Hubei Provincial Government decided to distribute mutton to the frontline medical workers who fought against the novel coronavirus in the province, as well as medical teams who helped Hubei, and the family members of those who died in the fight against the virus, according to people.cn.

On November 30, the mutton presented as a gift from Mongolia was served to Chinese medical workers who fought on the frontline against coronavirus in Central China's Hubei Province.
