Kuke Music, China's classic music streaming platform, announced that it was listed on the New York Stock Exchange under KUKE on Tuesday, raising $50 million by offering 5 million American Depositary Shares at $10.

The Beijing-based music site has engaged in streaming music and education since 2016 and has already set up collaborations with China's top universities like Peking University and Tsinghua University.

According to the platform, it has China's largest classic music database, covering 1.8 million songs, 900 studios, and 42,000 musicians.

Yu He, founder of Kuke, said that his company has been working to expand classic music to more areas.
