A man in Zhongshan, South China's Guangdong Province, who went to the hospital Monday for an ultrasound examination after feeling stomach pains was shocked to find that his medical report said he was pregnant. To his relief, the hospital later apologized, saying the report was a mistake.
The man, surnamed Wu, had a stomachache on Monday and went to a local hospital for some medical examination. After the ultrasound report came out, Wu was astonished to find a sentence on the report that said "Early pregnancy, embryo normal."
Wu went back to the doctors to get a further explanation.
After looking into the matter, the doctor who treated him apologized, saying the report was a copy-paste version of a previous patient, and they had "forgotten to delete the diagnosis."
Wu was further relieved to find that in addition to not being pregnant, he was not suffering from any major health problem.
