Ten more imported cases of COVID-19 were discharged from hospital in Shanghai on Wednesday, Shanghai Health Commission announced on Wednesday.
Among the 10 recovered patients, the youngest was only four months old, the authority said. Four of them are a family of foreign nationals, and the other six are Chinese.
They showed mild and ordinary symptoms, and received treatment with anti-inspection measures taken in addition to Chinese traditional medicine, the authority said.
As of Wednesday, Shanghai reported 1,342 imported cases in total, among whom 1,230 have been discharged from hospital and 112 patients are still receiving treatment.
The city saw a COVID-19 outbreak recently from January 21, with 18 local cases reported so far. They are still receiving treatment in hospital.
Notably, the recent local outbreak has been quickly controlled. The city reported no local COVID-19 cases for four consecutive days.
