Chinese stocks rally on first trading day of Year of the Ox

Chinese stocks rallied at the opening of Thursday, the first trading day in the Year of the Ox. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.18% to 3,700, the Shenzhen Composite Index up 1.97%, ChiNext up 1.82%.
