With a view to popularize different "Pitha", traditional handmade winter cakes, a festival is now underway in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka.

Scores of seasonal Pitha makers are bustling with hundreds of customers at the festival. Responding to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the organizer has moved this year's event from January to February due to safety concerns.
