A boy in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang Province, had an unforgettable toilet experience on Saturday, after he became stuck on the seat of the toilet and had to be rescued by firefighters.
The boy gained fame on China's social media platforms after a video of his awkward experience was shared online. In the video, he was seen sitting on the toilet seat in despair, with arms covering his head in an attempt to hide his tears and embarrassment.
After being trapped for so long, the boy could no longer feel his legs and his eyes were filled with tears, according to People's Daily on Monday.
Upon receiving the call, firefighters rushed to the scene. They wrapped the stuck part in towels and carefully cut up the seat with a cutting machine. After a ten-minute "emergency rescue," the boy was eventually freed.
Netizens were both amused by the boy and impressed by how firefighters "seem to have a solution to every problem in the world."
Some said jokingly, "I finally realized there is an upside for being fat - I will never worry about getting stuck on a toilet seat."
