Metro train with maximum designed speed of 160 km carries out hot-running test in S China

An electric train of the Guangzhou Metro Line 18, with a maximum designed speed of 160 km per hour, carried out its first hot-running test on Wednesday. The test aimed to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the power supply, signal, communication, line, and electromechanical system of the metro line.

The new line is expected to aid the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
