A: Did you know that a scam about student education was recently exposed?

你知道最近有一个关于学生教育的骗局被拆穿了吗？

B: What was it?

是什么呢？

(shì shenme ne?)

A: Recently the police in Xi'an, Shanxi Province captured someone who claimed they could help people change their art test scores in exchange for money. He tricked more than 80 students of around nearly 10 million yuan.

最近陕西西安警方抓获了一个人称花钱就能帮人改艺考成绩, 骗走了80多个学生近千万左右。

(zuìjìn shǎnxī xī'ān jǐnɡfānɡ zhuāhuò le yīɡè rén chēnɡ huāqián jiùnénɡ bānɡrén ɡǎi yìkǎo chénɡjì, piànzǒu le bashi duōɡè xuéshēnɡ jìn qiānwàn zuǒyòu.)

B: How did he get people to believe him? The test supervisor system is strict now.

他怎么做到让人信服？现在的考试监管很严格。

 A: He claimed that he and the head of the art institute were relatives. He also told his victims to provide a public relations fee to that so-called head. 

他称自己和美术学院里的领导是亲戚,还提出让受害人出公关费提供给所谓的领导。

(tā chēnɡ zìjǐ hé měishù xuéyuàn lǐde lǐnɡdǎo shì qīnqī, hái tíchū rànɡ shòuhàirén chū ɡōnɡɡuān fèi tíɡònɡ ɡěi suǒwèi de lǐnɡdǎo.)

B: This is a really poor scam. The art exam is a source of hope for a lot of kids and families. 

这样的骗局太差劲了,艺术考试寄托了好多孩子和家庭的希望。
