Stephen Curry scored 42 points in just three quarters of action, leading the Golden State Warriors to a 147-109 road win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.

Curry hit 11 three-pointers, his second consecutive game with 10 or more from behind the arc. It was Curry's eighth consecutive game with at least 30 points, including a 53-point effort Monday in the win over the Denver Nuggets.

The Warriors, who never trailed, led by as many as 27 in the first half, separating themselves in the second quarter.

Golden State's offense went into overdrive to start the second half, thanks to Curry.

Curry hit all eight of his shots from the field - including six three-pointers - to score 25 third-quarter points as the Warriors put up 50 points in the quarter.

Golden State was 17 of 23 from the floor in the quarter, their highest-scoring period since January 2019.

Draymond Green had his fourth triple of the season and the 28th of his career, with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists. Green had seven assists in the third. Green, Curry and the other Warriors starters sat out the fourth quarter.

The Warriors hit a season-high 24 three-pointers while equaling their highest point total of the season.

Curry, who finished 14 of 20 from the field and 11 of 16 from beyond the arc in 29 minutes, is averaging nearly 39 points per game since returning from a tailbone injury in late March.

Golden State, playing the opener of a season-high, five-game road trip, won its third consecutive game. In the Warriors' previous game, Curry passed Wilt Chamberlain to become the franchise's all-time leading scorer.

The Thunder have lost eight consecutive games and 11 of their past 12. During the eight-game skid, Oklahoma City has lost by an average 27.4 points per game.

Elsewhere, Russell Westbrook moved within 11 triple-doubles of Oscar Robertson's all-time mark, recording a sixth straight in the Washington Wizards' 123-111 victory over the Sacramento Kings.

Westbrook finished with 25 points, a game-high 15 rebounds, a game-high 11 assists and four steals, while Bradley Beal poured in a team-high 31 points for the Wizards, who completed a six-game trip with a 4-2 record.

De'Aaron Fox topped 30 points for the 16th time this season with a game-high 33 for the Kings, who lost their eighth straight.

Westbrook's triple was his league-leading 24th of the season and the 170th of his career. Robertson holds the all-time mark with 181.
