Cambodia imposes two-week lockdown to contain COVID-19 spread in Phnom Penh

Cambodia imposed a two-week lockdown in Phnom Penh and its neighboring Ta Khmau city on April 15-28 as the kingdom has been enduring the third wave of community COVID-19 outbreak since Feb. 20.

The Cambodian government has called on people to strictly follow heath safety guidelines.

The Southeast Asian nation logged 291 new cases on Saturday, bringing the total number of infections to 5,771, with 39 fatalities.
