5.6-magnitude quake hits near Taiwan's Hualien County: CENC

A 5.6-magnitude earthquake jolted Hualien County in eastern Taiwan at 10:11 pm Sunday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter, with a depth of 7 km, was monitored at 23.92 degrees north latitude and 121.53 degrees east longitude, said the CENC.

Another 6.1-magnitude quake hit the county within five minutes.
