A Tesla car reportedly lost control and crashed into a wet market in East China's Jinangsu Province on Tuesday, causing three injuries, raising more concerns over the quality control issues of the US car maker.

A female driver had an accident and crashed directly into a local vegetable market, according to an announcement issued by Taicang police, Jiangsu Province.

The accident occurred at around 9 am on Tuesday, leaving three people injured. None of the crash victims are in life-threatening condition, according to local media reports.

The preliminarily investigation has ruled out drunk driving and substance abuse, with the incident being further investigated.

In a video clip circulating earlier online, a white Tesla is seen crashed into a breakfast stand in a wet market. The injuries were rushed to hospital and firemen were summoned to the scene to pull the car out.

The crash followed a slew of Tesla car accidents reported in China in recent weeks. One person died after a Tesla reportedly lost control and caught fire in Zengcheng District, South China's Guangzhou on April 13.
