resilience 坚韧感/ (jiānrènɡǎn)

Do you think women have more resilience than men when it comes to certain things?

A: Yes. Although men are often thought of as being more capable of handling pressure, but women have some qualities that give them a special resilience.

A: For instance, a lot of women, after they become mothers, are more willing than men to give with no thought of return to their kids over the long term. A lot of single mothers who love their kids are a good example. 

比如,很多女孩子当了母亲以后会比男性更愿意对孩子长时间不计回报地付出,即便是面临很多困难。很多爱孩子的单亲妈妈就是很好的例子。
