After delays brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, The Tides of The Century, an international exhibition about cultural dialogues along the Maritime Silk Road, finally made it to Danzhou, South China's Hainan Province, as the opening exhibition at the Ocean Flower Island Museum on Thursday.

With Greece as the guest country, the exhibition hosted by the China Arts and Entertainment Group (CAEG) is displaying a total of 176 artworks from 95 artists through collaboration with China's Central Academy of Fine Arts.

Arranging 73 artworks from 34 Greek artists, renowned curator Katerina Koskina has turned the museum's Hall 6 into a space to view the development of Greek art since the 1970s.

Additionally, the museum's Hall 8 hosts an exhibition that explores the interaction between Chinese and Dutch artists.

Besides the exhibitions, the museum has also launched a residence project for six young artists.

The Tides and The Century exhibition is scheduled to run until December 8.
