A new children musical will kick off the first leg of its national tour at the Beijing Poly Theater at the upcoming weekend.

The New Big Head Son and Little Head Father musical produced by China Central Television and the Poly Culture Group will be staged at the theater from Friday to Sunday before touring to other cities across the country.

Adapted from the same-name animation series, the musical follows the family of big head son and little head father for a warm story about family and love.
